WRITING
I've been writing and performing sketch comedy for over 20 years in a little comedy group called Famous In The Future.
I answered an ad for a cable access variety show that needed comedy writers. After one show, we disbanded. A few of the writers banded together to form Famous In The Future.
I also wrote a sitcom script for "Something's Brewin'", a show some friends and I were developing based around a coffee shop. A pilot was filmed, but NBC did not pick it up.
In 2001, I had a few small pieces published in the Illinois Entertainer for their humor issue.
But Famous In The Future makes up the bulk of my writing, having written over 100 sketches that were performed and may have gotten laughs.

PRODUCER
In the beginning I also got certified to produce cable access shows at CAN-TV in Chicago. I've produced/edited many shows that have aired in Chicago for Famous In The Future and various other projects.
EDITOR
I enjoy video editing. Today I do all my editing at home, and I don't mind avoiding those 3/4" decks at the facilities I had to wrestle with long ago.
PERFORMER
At first, I was just a writer in Famous In The Future. Actors quit, and I was forced to perform on stage. I'm a better writer than performer and that's ok with me. I've surrounded myself with great actors. To be fair, I have improved greatly.
OTHER
I've also been known to pick up a guitar and make a comedy song. Sometimes I even sing it. Other times I bring an idea to the very talented David Drazin and he will write and record the music.
My traditional job is a freelance computer programmer / developer / consultant / troubeshooter / web monkey / etc. It pays the bills.
